Iced Tea
This a very dry bush i found near the path i take towards the bus as it is the only place i have easy access to with real plants. I decided to photograph this plant because I thought that it looked dehydrated and, seeing that summer is beginning, I wanted to capture the feeling you have when you just need a cold can of soda or just a plain ice cold water or tea on a hot summer afternoon. I feel as though i have potenially succeded in my vision, however the plant is a bit to dry and would be better if it had water sprayed over it.

Forbidden HoneyThis is a plant that is planted at the front of my house. I though that the colors and composition of the hole bush itself meshed really well together and I wanted to capture that beauty in this picture. Looking at the plant for the first time, I instantly got that feeling of unity. It was pretty hard to get the right angle since the bush was very low and small and I had to try and get a high angle because I could barely get a straight shot of this area, but I was eventually able to get he right angel straight on by simply crouching and laying in the floor in a embarrassing way. With this angle I was able to depict the feeling of unity and peace quite easily.

Before GivingI found this little tree-like plant on a playground that was completely empty. I instantly knew why I wanted to capture this moment. The tree represents isolation and lonliness since it had barely any company around and was just bathing is sundown light all alone with no one. I could relate to this plant a bit so I wanted to capture that rather depressive tone by just having the plant seem small and pretty uncomfortable as thats what I feel when I fell alone.

Earth HairThis was a set of leaf from a branch of a tree I found on the to my friend's house. I just though it was simple enough to convey the emotion of peace. I wanted to Covey this feeling because I though it would be a nice sentiment to just enjoy the little thing in life. I feel that I was able to capture that feeling due to the simplicity of the image and background

HighnessThis image is meant to depict the ones looking over us. THe family members that see us from above are represented as these flowers are postioned up high with just enough space to reach them graciously. I feel that I have captured the feeling of security as the picture is not menecing or crude, just wholesome.
